One of the feature that I like on the New Sony NEX-3 is the automatic panorama mode. Although the DoubleTake for Mac OS X is very good at stitching photos, taking panorama picture with Sony NEX-3 could be fun. The capture mode works horizontally as well as vertically.

『馬』上到台灣

2008年五月，乘著幾天假期，到台灣旅行，行程由台中轉到清境農場遊玩，今次選擇了港龍航空的台中三天機票加酒店套票，再自行加兩天清境農場民宿，做成五日四夜的行程。第一日早上飛台中，到達時已近下午二時。由機場乘計程車到綠川車站要約一小時，車費要500台圓。由台中車站到埔里，原本要乘公共汽車，車票是150台圓，經由計程車司機介紹，我們轉乘台中到埔里的『共乘』計程車，車票祇是120台圓。到達埔里後，轉到清境的計程車公共汽車站就在馬路對面，車程也是一小時多。
行程兩天在清境農場住歐風小鎮，台中則選了昭盛52行館清境的民宿和台中的酒店都非常合意。歐風小鎮的林先生更在順道載我們回埔里時介紹我們一試台式小食肉圓又推介我們到埔里酒廠參觀，使我們感受到台中人的熱誠。可參看全圖

NAC Geographic Products offers a free geocoding service that convert an address to coordinate and display on Google Map. The displayed Longitude and Latitude could then be used for your handmade GIS applications.
While geocoding service is readily available for addresses in Europe, US and Canada, this service covers 24 Countries and Areas: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland (Uusimaa, Häme and Pirkanmaa regions only), France, Germany, Greece (Athens only), Hong Kong, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom, and United States.

Return from Europe trip

We returned from the Europe Trip - the flight from London to Hong Kong was diversed to Subic Bay due to the bad weather in Hong Kong so there were a delay of 24 hours.
We had a very good time during the pre-tour stay in London as well as the two extra nights staying in Paris.
The Cosmos tour turned out to be a disappointment - There were simply too much land area to cover every day and a typically “sightseeing” of the tour is two hours, including the time to get yourself lunch and go to the washrooms. If you are considering joining a Cosmos package tour, my advice is - carefully check out the driving distance to cover each day before you join. There is simply no point in sitting in a coach for 5 hours to travel and visit a place for 1 hour.
Get yourself a Eurorail pass and station yourself at a city for several nights and do some day-trip excursion to nearby places should be the better way to see Europe.
